Description

sold my separate 2-channel system except the Dynaudio Special 25s.

Now I am done with building an integrated HT/2-channel system. Very happy.

Angel,

Can't say enough good things about these Dyn's. They will be with me for a looooong time.

My previous separates were Bryston 4B-ST amp and Camelot Uther v2 mk III DAC with volume control (so I don't have to use a pre-amp ) The sound is very clean, neutral, detailed yet musical. Everythig I am looking for. Some say they tend to sound 'bright' or 'hash'. Nosense! The so called 'musical' they heard from other system are NOT music but harmonic distortions!

The low end Yamaha A/V receiver I have right now is phonamenal, especially using its on board DAC. I have heard so many good words about Yamaha's amps and their DSPs, but wasn't quite prepared for such performance. They are only shy on very loud performance as it only gets 75W per channel. Simply put, I am stuck with Yamaha brand. Currently I have Yamaha RX-Z1 or RX-V3300 in mind. The upcoming RX-Z9 is awesome but too expansive for me.
