I can not really compare the Gavia to models from other competitors but I am very happy with it. It is a jewel to look at, and the new motor controller which was introduced some months ago made its sound even better.

Upgrade to the Transfiguration Proteus cartridge was a big leap in performance.

Yes, my Gavia does have the new motor controller. It is a great turntable and a gem to look at.
