This current set-up is the result of many years of tinkering. Due to spousal requirements, I am not able to just go for the 'best' speakers as they have to meet optical criteria as well. After a long search I came across the 6"8' tall Gallos which disappear despite their height. Tube amps are driving highs and mids, the Gallo bass amp is driving the 24 woofers. This set up allows almost infinite adjustment via phase, external cross-over, and two mono volume pods and offers the ability to dial in the bass based on speaker placement and room.
