This is what I have assembled so far, mind you Im always on a budget,this is what I have in the Office/guest/sound room. Lately Ive been in the Vintage mode.and also have other goodies throughout the house, bedroom Sansui AU-719,JBL 166 Horizons,in Den NAD 2400thx,917 pre,5100 CD player, Maggies MG 1b,and a recently purchased JBL L-36 Decades. and beleive me IM still not Done..Anybody know the feelin,
I have the Vandersteen 1C's, and absolutely love them. I'm driving them with a Rogue Cronus EL-34 tubed integrated amp, an NAD 533 turntable, and a Marantz CD-63SE deck. The tunes are beautiful, and the sound is liquid gold. My compliments to you............NAD and Vandersteen make a great match, and it seems as if you have a great system......My only suggestion is this.....It looks like your speakers are angled in too much. Try them more straight on, and only very slightly toed in to your listening spot. I think you'll find an expanded soundstage and a more accurate presentation of voices.
