I completely retooled my system to a combination 2 ch and HT. The CJ preamp has a nice HT bypass enabling me to have a nice combo system. I will update soon with a picture as the Maelstrom subs are still under construction.

Thanks Linnie, my wife is into photography and some of those pics go way back, the one on the far right behind the speaker is me in front of the family 57 Chevy.
I pulled the cd player out of the system. The picture still shows the jolida jd-100 in the bottom left space in the rack, the rotel 985 is now in that space. Yes I am in the process of impoting my cd collection to the mac, I'm about 1/3 of the way there. I am using apple lossless and storing them on a 750 gig external HD. The whole computer thing started when I decided to "upgrade" the jolida. I was looking at cd units up to $3000, I figured before I did that I would try the mac and dac combo just to get an idea if I would like it. So I bought a used mac and an inexpensive dac and HD(all for under $1000). Low and behold it sounded A LOT better than the jolida, so yes it is now my digital source. I am planning to upgrade the dac to a wavelength unit in the future. After all that I still listen to vinyl 80% of the time!
Yes the speakers are dipoles and Linkwitz (linkwitzlab.com) was involved in the Audio Artistry designs. As for the cats they are laying on the Adcom 2535 amps that I was originally powering the speakers with. They think they are their electric blankets now, I didn't have the heart to pull the amps out of there when I got the Jolidas and the Rotel 5ch.
