in nyc. we have space, noise and other constraints. i am driving the guarneris with the jadis integrated, which to my ears is a beautiful, organic combination. the most important upgrade to my system has been the dcs puccini. my front end now costs about the same as my amplifier and speakers together. in my opinion it was worth every penny :) i am open to your comments and feedback. rk

Hi,

Your cd player sounds best with balanced (xlr) cables. For the money the Ayre K5/V5 would be nice. Although not balanced, the Hovland HP200/Radia would be even more musical. Later I would exchange the CX7 to a D1x, which has absolutely no grain.
for cables I would go for NBS and decoupling Stillpoints.
your speakers deserve it!
Have fun.
