To add, I am auditioning equipment and set ups and would welcome feedback ideas. In addition to the viewing distance above, some of the objective/parameters that I feel are neccesary for me are
1. Good 2 channel sound: pre pro must have by pass
2. 1920/1080P capable with upscaling for standard DVDs
3. L/R speakers not dominant in size
4. DVD, Blu Ray, CD, SACD. DVD-A not important. I already have Sonus for playlists.
