Hi guys the Andra 2's are great speakers.
I had the Mac 501's paired up with these and then paired them up with Pass X600.5 mono blocks and have to say the improvement over all was really nice, great match.
In the Mac line-up the 1201's or the newer 1.2KW's would be a sure winner and would really be nice to hear along with the 2301 new tube mono's.
I also paired the Andra's up with CAT Sig. JL2 stereo amp and the sound was really nice, I would never recommend this product due to other issues though.
Look into Sistrum platforms, put the Andra's ontop of them, the improvement is well worth the cost. There are lots of info. you can read up about them, they really do work and I currently use them with my MBL 101E's along with my mono-block amps.
Mike1111, best you do a comparison first to confirm, if I was you I would be looking further up the MAC line as I suggested above but that being said at the same time I see the pre you are using so try a different pre as the synergy will vary along with the outcome possibly.
