Description

We live in the heart of the city and space is in short supply, so the music room doubles as the formal dining room. Have had to accept some compromise due to room acoustics but it has already been enough of a struggle with the wife and room treatments are a battle I would never win. I have been lucky enough to find great sounding gear that are wife-approved. I like to experiment and switch out individual components frequently. Looking forward to having a lot more flexibility now that I can hide my gear in the massive steel cabinet that I designed and had custom built.

When I want to really listen to the music, I move the chairs to the side of the room and sit at the end of the dining table. I sometimes put a blanket on the glass table to minimize reflection. It is a bit of a hassle so I don't always bother.

Any suggestions on the system or the room?
