I have to put new pictures up one day .These are outdated and incomplete. My digital camera has decided to call it quits,,pics will have to wait.If its not one ting, its an udda!
Thanks for responses, can anyone estimate what an electrician will charge to intsall a dedicated line,I live in an older wooden house with no attic to crawl thru, just rafters about 25 ft from elect box to listening room. A friend was going to help me with this but my landlord insist I use a pro,,
I see there are high dollar Sockets available. My buddy used a "commmercial" grade Socket. An electrician at his work said that they are similar to "hospital " grade sockets for less money. He said the biggest advantage that both have over inexpensive household sockets is the clamping force applied to the spades. He ran 10 gauge wire with a 30 amp breaker.
Question .... Can any gain be had with better quality breakers?? Seems that if one end is can be better (socket) then the other could also.
BTW Im not an electrician so I wont comment on wire runs grounds ect.. best to talked to a pro!
System edited: just recieved signal cable "analog two" IC.i took out the audioquest coral between cd player &pre amp ,put analog two in its place , only a few hrs on it ,so far sogood will update when i get more hrs .
A friend of mine has the same speakers as you. They sound good. Anyway he ran a dedicated power line from his breaker box to power his system. The difference was truely "night and day". His amp and pre-amp are Odysseys. Anyway just thought Id pass that along. Much cheaper than "power conditioners" and the gain was incredible
