While the Era Design 4 is a fantastic speaker for its price and size, I have moved to the B&W 805s as they are just better overall. I use this setup for music listening as well as tracking and mixing my own music.

Taterworks,

It's been awhile since I posted that about my son. He's in masters program now at Texas Tech (on Deans list!) and has followed his old dad in appreciating analog.

Now running a Technics 1200 with ADC XLM cartridge into a Sherwood powering JBL 4311 monitors.

I gave him a lot of my back up LPs, including Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, Sonny Clark, and Duke Ellington.

My son is experimenting with Linux, thinks it's great. He's in his second year of college, going to Texas Tech.

He choose the Logitech Z-5500 system, we found a new one at Ebay for less than $200.00. Good for a computer system and his limited budget.
