Congratulations on your purchase. I have the former model of the Eurythmies and since I got them 7+yrs ago, I have never wanted to replace them. I have used low power amps (8W 2A3 PP amps, 13W EAR 859s) and higher power amps (VTL 450 Sigs) and feel the answer lies between. I find them extremely detailed, probably a little euphonic (upper bass rise), somewhat sensitive to where the wall is, and capable of staggeringly good (and house-shaking if you want it) bass. I sometimes get the feeling they should be slightly elevated (on mine, the crossover is separate, not built-in, so height may already be different) and on something like stillpoints. I may try something like that soon.
