I arguably in a way that enjoy music that "playing the music as the artist intended". I believe in System synergy is not only about combining equipments but it is a kind of long and enjoyable way to maximize their performances painlessly.
My system sound very soothing. It always created a satisfying smile on my face...sorry no goose bumps.
In the meantime, don't limit myself to just one playback medium. To open my horizons to multiple media (ie. Tidal streaming, Mac Mini Server, CD, SACD, Dsd, and Vinyl). Reaching out to the different sound of my favorite recordings across multiple platforms and enjoy the experience!
Beewax, I am putting together a McIntosh system. I have recently auditioned the MC601 and loved them. Are you biamping MC275 (MF/HF) with MC601 (LF) with 802's?
I am thinking about C1100T / MC601 with my 800D's.
No doubt C500 sound lot better than C2300. It's a purist approach, which is why separates were introduced as oppose to one box solution.
If you recall my post, I have asked for feedback on bi-amping vs mono blocks for my 800D's. I end up getting Modwright KWA150 SE's for front three channels. Boy, I am glad I did, cost me pretty penny. But they turned out to be much better than Classe M600 in every aspect. I am running them in bridged mode, 450W with 32db gain.
