I am very pleased with the Arcam. Not a lot of set options but it has great sonics. May very well be upgraded to the 350 soon. I have upgraditis again!
The Genelecs displaced B & W's (Which found there way into a bedroom system). Possibly because the Arcam didnt have quite enough juice. The Genelecs absolutely excel at dynamics. They have very refined bass, seductive mids, with a forwardish presentation. They do roll off above 17khz and its noticeable to me.
The sub has been with me for years. Its a great sub for movies but it falls a little short with music.
The Denon is very good with upscaled video and par for its cost with audio. I prefer the DACs in the Arcam on most CD's. SACD is very acceptable but, to be fair, I dont have a lot of experience with the better SACD players.
The Genelecs will stay on as surrounds when this system and the two channel system get integrated and placed into a much larger room. In fact, I may just get three more Genelecs for center and back surrounds in a 7.1 setup. The future setup is more than likely going to be Meridian. Though, I may go back with Bryston which was a solid performer.
Multi Channel Receiver. Not the most powerful or the most versatile. Sounds good for a receiver. Virtual Dynamics Power 3
Denon DVD-3910
DVD-V/DVD-A/SACD pretty nice machine. I like the video upconversion. Decent as a transport feeding the DACs in Arcam. One of the better analog output DVD players for redbook I have used. Harmonic Technologies Pro-Silway IIIs to Arcam and Virtual Dynamics Power 3
Soliloquy 6.2
Two way 6.5" Midwoofer 1.125" Silk Dome Tweeter A fine sounding speaker. Very seductive mids and highs. Bass is plentiful, rolls off around 35Hz in room. Virtual Dynamics Audition Bi-wire.

Dual 12" NHT 1259 Woofers Dayton 1000 watt plate replaced the NHT plate. Tons more power. Controlled by the super flexible Velodyne SMS-1. External Digital Drive Xover. Xover 28hz @ 12dB per Octave. The SMS is awesome when using high level inputs.
Hey Dis-tort;yopu are welcome. there are a number of great web pages for the video-end of the AV. www;AVSFORUM.com is good. there are many others. As a matter of fact, perhaps someone will start a thread mentioning favorite video links as Audiogon is fantastic on the Audio part, just a bit lacking on the video.
Distort, I wish it did not seem so complicated. It seems that the folks who own thr rights to the movies don't want us copying the very best versions of them. So, as High Definition begins to go mainstream, there is resistance to letting us all have easy, recordable access to it. So, there is this attempt to 'copy protect' the digital flow so that you can only get the best picture if you whole digital system has all of the software. It is my understanding that this is not a problem once you run it through your DAC. But, lets say for instance, your Satellite or DVD player or your high-end DAC don't have the latest chip. Then the system will downgrade the picture a bit so as to avoid us making a copy. think of it as Macrovision in High Definition. Now, if your DAC is ready for this, then your plasma or projector does not really need it as you simply feet it the analog stuff through your normal compopnent inputs. It is just that if you buy a plasma/projector with the DVI input, planning to use the on-board DAC, you might find your self with old equipment, sooner than you wanted. I am not too worried about this as I will probably rely on an external DAC and continue to use my plasma and/or projector simply as a monitor. The point being that you should be aware of this before spending too much on a monitor system with DVI inputs that don't have the copy protection.
So, if you likes what ya got, stick with it for another year or so. I think the wait will be worth it. finally, there are great plasma deals on the internet. check out the Plasma Depot, amoung others.
Your system is distortion-less. Very nice. I do agree you need to go with plasma or projection. I am using projection as I have family over to sometimes watch movies. I might be soon be changing my TV in the living room to plasma. If you do go with plasma, pay attention to the DAC as everything is changing, especially with the CPHD (copy protected high definition) coming on line. If you go with a high-end Theatre Processor you probably won't need to worry about your projector/plasma DAC.
