Description

Here are both of my systems. Everything for the two-channel audio system is in the tall rack. This is my main system. The black RBH T2P/R speakers are currently being used in this system.

The home theater system is actually pretty small. Right now I am using the line arrays for the front left and right speakers just so they are being used. The line arrays were the speakers for the two-channel audio system. When I bought the theater system I bought the Velodyne and all of the Paradigm speakers for use in it.

I use an antenna on the roof for my TV reception. It works great since just about all stations in my area are broadcasting in Hi-Def.

The latest model when I bought it a few months ago.

    • Paradigm CC-290
Center channel speaker, version 4. Bought new a few months ago. Yeah, I know, I need to get it off of the floor. I'm considering have a stand made for it.
    • Custom Design Line Array Speakers
Based on a design by Rick at Selah Audio. They are about 4 years old. Currently being used as the front left and right speakers in my home theater system.
    • Custom Design Equipment Racks
Designed my me and made by Walnut Creek Woodshop in the Des Moines, Iowa area. Cocobolo 1/4-inch veneers on all surfaces except for the underside of the shelves. Adjustable shelving. The tall rack holds the two-channel audio equipment. The wide rack holds the home theater equipment. This allows me to put one system in one room and the other system in another room if I want to do that. Moving the two-channel system into the basement is actually being considered.

Oh wow!  I forgot I had this picture posted.  Most everything is gone now.  I still have the racks, the TV, the DVD player, the HT receiver and the turntable.

My latest gear is a Parasound P-5 preamp, a Parasound A23 amplifier, a Marantz TT-42 turntable, a Marantz FT 7001 tuner and a Mac Mini used basically as a music server.  My latest speakers are PBN Montana EPS-2 and Nordost White Lightning speaker cables.  My current DVD player is a Panasonic DMP-BD60.

I'll take a picture of my current setup and will post it soon.
