Description

I have arrived at a place where within my limits, there are no limits! An oxymoron, I know, but I now want a no compromise system. I understand that there are systems that can cost a lot more, which are out of reach and kind of over the top at least from my perspective! SO here is my attempt at a very musical system!

Hi Nieuwen,

I checked your old posts and apparently you owned the Proac Tablette Reference 8 Signatures and listened to the Dynaudios C1s. Have you compared the Totem The One to the Tablette Ref 8 Sigs and Dynaudio C1s directly? Did you try all of them on your Naim Supernait? If yes, which one sounded the best? Have you tried any other speaker on your Supernait before settling down with The One?

I currently have the Totem Model 1s in my system and find them to be harsh and grainy in the upper mids and highs with a lack of finesse and refinement. The imaging, speed, dynamics and transient attack are superb though. It's just refinement that eludes the Model 1s like a ghost. I suspect The One is much superior to the Model 1s in this regard. I can imagine the superb sound you're getting from your system with The One(driven by the Supernait).

The size of my room is very similar to yours at 11' x 17'.

Thanks in advance.
