Unfortunately, I let them go while rewamping my entire system, and could never find the right replacement. They were very reserved, but deeply involving at the same time, especially with classical music on vinyl. Right now I'm running a complete 47 Labs Shigaraki setup and have just moved into a larger room, which feels pretty weird in NYC. The newer wood models are so finely crafted and luxurious, but the older black ones have that raw design and sentimental value. Then there's the special all-walnut unit, which is simply stunning. You've made life more complicated with so many beautiful products, but it's a good thing, of course.
John, on behalf of all the DeVore fans, welcome to the forum! My first serious speaker was the Gibbon 3, possibly one of the first ones made, purchased late 2001. Very refined instrument, to say the least. And something tells me I'll end up with one of your floorstanders sooner or later!
