John,
How high are the tweeters in the Super 8s? I'm looking into these to upgrade from my Von Schweikert VR2s.

My listening sofa is rather low profile so I find my current speakers' tweeters to be too high, relative to my seating position. If you could let me know the measurement floor-to-tweeter, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,

Thanks John. This is great to know, especially the fact that the S8s can be placed relatively close to the wall.

Jldcat,
That's a great acoustically-neutral Nelson Bench.

How do the Super 8s perform without toe-in? These are the perfect size for my condo but I can only have them facing straight, at exactly 8 feet apart. (I sit at about 8 feet from my current speakers).

What is, in your opinion, the closest they could be from the back wall?

I know you live in NY so you have to be used to small-space living (I live in dowtown DC).

Thanks,
