Pinkus,

Re component table, mine is not a dedicated audio rack, just a credenza made by Cassina, link: http://www.cassina.com . Look into its " comtemporary" collection, and under container units and bookshelves, you will find my credenza named "item" there. As a furniture, it is pretty high end, however, as an audio rack, it is not. I used symposium svelt shelves under each component, and then place them on the credenza, the result was pretty good. However, if you are an abosolute audio first type, you maybe better off getting a dediacted audio rack.

Wenrhuang, would you share some information about your wall-mount CD rack? This is exactly what I've been searching for, but can not locate online. Where can I purchase and what is the capacity? Thank you.

Distortion,

Thank you for your nice comments. I started just wanting to have a decent sounding system that fits well in our living room. But soon after I got hooked,I have been on an upgrade path. I am enjoying along the way too.

Beautiful room! Fantastic electronics. Exquisite photography! Your style and taste are impeccable. Oh yes, I am rather sure it sounds remarkable!

System edited: The recent purchase of Linn amps seemed a risky decision, many I talked with thought Linn would not match well with Dynaudio, and no one I checked have tried the combination, neither did I have chance for an audition. However, I fell for the sleek slim design of those Klimaxes, and purchasing used reduced much of the risk. So I finnally pulled the trigger. Now that I had them for a few weeks, they work surprisingly well in my system. Still need to tweek them a bit to get the most out.

Thank you for the info on the Siltechs. Once again, excellent, simple setup. I am also from the school of "KISS" (Keep It Simple System).
Best, mt

I like the Siltech Cables a lot. I started with lower range G5s, graudully upgrading to more G6s, and the gain has been rewarding. I found Siltech cables generally very balanced, nice, smooth but detailed mid-range. And with each step up in the line up, there is consistant gain of everything.

excellent system synergy with mid century decor. your le corbusier chair is a classic...if i recall, i think that is the chair used on the famous photgraph where the guys is wind blown while listening to a speaker.

btw,how do you like siltech cables?

Fabulous look!

Very beautiful set-up. Nice to see as much energy dedicated to the holistic listening environment, as to the equipment. Very nice!
