Just finished upgrading the cabling and the tubes (all to NOS) for the preamp. So far, it sounds so much more alive than previously. vocal still lacks abit of body relative to having all Harmonix cabling previously, but it's improving as the purenotes runs in.

very nice system, I'm getting the piont of your dream about the audio research.
I listened to it some a go lokal demo, very impresieve.

my experience with the ruby hill are that it is detailed and lots of space between de instruments, heaveny voices.
I like it very much......
