agreed. go for synergy. that's exactly how I'm planning my next upgrade. a synergetic system. either than, or buy an exact replica of some mfg's reference system.
High-end stereo stores need to do more of this. This is where much of their value lies. else why not just roll the dice and buy items at random from audiogon?
