Description

I might actually be done. I find that this is the system sound I have been looking for. It can be played from very low volume levels to very high volume and gives me what I am looking for. The mid range defines the system and it is all there. The low end is present but not overwhelming and the system can be listened to for hours without being fatiguing. I have it tweeked with my room. My concentration has been on buying music. . Thats it for now. Stephen

You know, I am going to have to start writing down my impressions. I know it sounds funny but, I feel some notes would help me recall. I vaguely remember reading this very idea but I cant remember who or where.

If memory serves me, the Wadia was better at inner detail. For me, that warmth is synergistic right now. When my system has sufficient changes I plan on borrowing that Wadia again.

Your system is great looking and I am sure, great sounding.

The Pathos is beautiful. I love to see artful pieces like this.

I am curious, what did you like about the Wadia compared to the Jolida? I had one (Wadia 302) in my system briefly and thought it was an excellent CDP. Honestly, it did make me appreciate the Jolida's performance to dollar ratio. I am wondering, when I further upgrade my system, if the performance gap will widen and favor the Wadia even more.
