Description

A few months ago, I was able to move my 2-channel system to a room in the basement that measures 12' wide, 15' long, and 7' high. Now in the main living room upstairs, I do not particularly care if either of my boys knock over or damage the equipment as it is much less expensive.

It is a great relief off of my shoulders.

My goals for this system? Just to be able to relax for ~45 minutes every night and enjoy the music. Sorry, I am not much on flowery descriptions.

Yeah, I've got a pile of tapes in the basement too. Made most with a top-loading Dokorder deck that was my first foray into audio at the ripe age of 12. Delivered many newspapers to pay for it. Later had a Nak LX-3 that was great for what it was.
Vinyl is still the way to go IMHO.
Good luck finishing your project...Spencer

Wow, David, nice system. We are certainly of a like mind. I would love the VZN 100s in my system. The Nak deck brings back memories, too ;-)
Cheers,
Spencer

PS: DIY room treatments are the way to go. Check mine out if you get a chance...
