Description

Daily music therapy.  Gryphon and Rockport have a synergy that allows the music to have emotion and clarity unique to my lifetime of systems.  Soundsmith just rebuilt the Hyperion with their new MR stylus option.  As it has settled in the combination of detail and musicality through the DSA Phono 2 has moved the system to a new level.  The entire system now has an improved balance.  The combination of Gryphon and Rockport work well together.  Now I just need to order more albums…

I like Ayre. Never a stinker from Charlie. Always balanced and musical IME. The Exogal is exquisitely detailed and lively sounding with no glare or treble nasties. That combo is hard to find IME, especially in this price range.  I am told that Exogal is coming our with a new DAC so you may want to wait a bit and try it if the timing is right for you.

It's tough to choose because there are so many good DACs out there. What did/does the Codec do well and what would you like to be better?

Very nice system. Good selections. Might wanna try an Exogal Comet Plus before buying.
