If you want to make your "race car"(audio system) perform to world class levels, you need to learn how to make it perform on the racetrack(in your room)!!!...this separates the champions(seasoned audiophle tweeks/experts) from the competitors(audio enthusiests)!
THE ROOM/SET-UP/ACOUSTICS are at least 50% off the overall sound you are hearing in a given room!!! I cannot understate this enought. With even the best gear money can buy, people almost always end up with poor to mediocre sonic results, due improper set-up and bad acoustic considerations and treatment!
If you're ready to say "I'm done, and my system rules", I'm just currious if you've considered these other things!?! If you haven't, yes, your probably not done getting anywhere near the best from your system....
