Did it all myself except the sheet rock, basically gutted the room and started from scratch but it was a necessey to remodel it anyhow. Making a HT was not that hard, since it has a drop celing and I can get behind all the walls. Cost wise I have no idea didn't really keep track maybe a couple of grand. New house has a 26'X 28' room I am using for a HT; in the process of setting that up now. Much bigger / better for entertaining.
