I pieced this together with pre-owned and demo components over time. I hope to continue upgrading as money allows. The amplifier and center channel are high on my list.
System edited: It's been five years since making any changes. Marital changes and career upheaval cut into my available cash flow. I'm through the turmoil and preparing to start again. Looking to improve the display capability and add Blu-ray next. Audio improvements to follow.
Thanks for the compliment. I enjoy my system very much. It definitely is the entertainment center of my home. The Vandersteen speakers are the newest upgrade and lately I've been going through my CD collection listening all over again. The Xbox gets used heavily when my sons are with me and a bit after work. I watch television or listen to CD's most evenings. DVD's are part of the weekend whenever my sons are here. We normally watch two or three movies minimum. I see from your system post that you are located near Indy. I get down there about once a month. Indy is a great city.
