The first half is for the 2 channel stereo system. The second Half including a Harman-Kardon AVR-7300 is for the home theater. The PSB's are used for the L/R of the dedicated home theater, and B&W Matrix HT for the center. There are 2 other systems in the house, which I'll list separately. This 18 by 35' dedicated sound room/Home theater boasts 3 20 amp dedicated electrical lines for equipment. This all sits on 9" of poured concrete slab for stability and reinforcement.I welcome any questions or comments. The walls are all raised paneled oak, dental oak crown molding, and the rear of the room has a brick fireplace with an oak mantle and raised panels above. Heavy velvet drapery in front and on the back wall and heavy Burber carpeting througout. All furniture is Heavy overstuffed club chair type. you might say Ralph Lauren could feel very comfortable here. Oak walls are stained dark and above is painted a deep burgundy as are the drapes.
I understand. Incidentally, you have one of the most inviting rooms for watching movies or enjoying music w/ a glass of wine that I have seen here on A'gon.
B&W speakers are awe inspiring when mated w/ Classe or Mcintosh amplification. They are a match made in heaven.
Just a thought: Mac makes a 5 channel analogue preamp that will take the 5 channel analogue output of a DVD/BluRay player for movies, while preserving sonic purity for 2 channel music, because it is analogue. It would give you the ability to have one smokin' system utilizing your DR-25/802 comb for music and the L&R channel for movies.
