The first half is for the 2 channel stereo system. The second Half including a Harman-Kardon AVR-7300 is for the home theater. The PSB's are used for the L/R of the dedicated home theater, and B&W Matrix HT for the center. There are 2 other systems in the house, which I'll list separately. This 18 by 35' dedicated sound room/Home theater boasts 3 20 amp dedicated electrical lines for equipment. This all sits on 9" of poured concrete slab for stability and reinforcement.I welcome any questions or comments. The walls are all raised paneled oak, dental oak crown molding, and the rear of the room has a brick fireplace with an oak mantle and raised panels above. Heavy velvet drapery in front and on the back wall and heavy Burber carpeting througout. All furniture is Heavy overstuffed club chair type. you might say Ralph Lauren could feel very comfortable here. Oak walls are stained dark and above is painted a deep burgundy as are the drapes.
Very nice room and setup. I also run a 2ch - HT setup which I am hoping to post on here in the next couple days. I was curious if you have experimented with the drapes closed versus open for stereo listening. You would expect in looking at the pictures to get some harsh reflections off the windows but the drapes would probably make a big difference. Just wondering if you tried that and what your experience was.
