Great amp. Sounded more like a valve amp. Apparently based on a valve circuit without many active components. Bit unreliable though.

Weighed 90lbs each. Aluminium farma with plaster type filling. Very inert. Single full range metal coned Tom Jordan Driver and a Ribbon Hypertweeter. Absolutely amazing. Bass down to 20 Khz.
Oh my God! I remember reading a review of the Townshend Glastonbury speakers in HI FI News and Record Review when they came out many years ago. I wanted them so badly! I'm not sure if there was even an American distributor at the time, but I was too poor anyway. I would love to hear them. Did you buy them new, or second hand?
