very clean and smooth treble, great bass, and the headphone amp is particularly good. great system match with the paradigm 60's

great treble and midrange.. i listened to wilson sophia 2's side by side with 100's and 60's, and except for the low end, the paradigms were right there with them.

Added at the same time as the Silflex Glass Toslink cables. Not sure which one made the bigger difference, but combined they sound better than my previous system.
Well I know this is confusing but in MIT 5 is lower than 1. So term 3 is a beter piece than a term 5. This is as far as I know correct but double check on your end to make sure but Im pretty sure on this. As you can tell Im new to MIT. I thought the same thing super$ and not worth it but I have to admit Im wrong when Im wrong so Im wrong! LOL!! Yea I had to try the MIT term 2 cause for 150$ I couldnt go wrong and now I cant believe I ever wanted anything but these and in fact Im selling most everything I can just to buy used interconnects by MIT right now!
Seriously look on here for a set of MIT terminator 2 speaker wires. There up here all the time for around 1 to 2 hundred $,s and you will LOVE what you find! I never would have thought it made such a huge difference. I was just giving advice on the part where you mentioned cables upgrade. I had a set of speakers that didnt sound good unless bi-amped and then I got the MIT terminator 2,s and viola! they sound great with one amp! the speaker cables were the problem they were choking the bass out.And theyre wernt cheap cables! so Im sure youll find or have similar results!
