Viggen, in a way, YES, the modded Gallos trashed the SAPs. well maybe that is a bit extreme, but i liked what the Galllos did with the music better. The SAPs gave a little boominess that i couldn't get rid of. The Gallos reproduced the musical range more easily.

Budrew, i heard these amps last year at the Rocky Mnt Fest and was very very impressed......with the whole sound of the system. I found the amps to be fast and accurate to how music sounds and changes. Not only is the bass great (as on e would expect from SS) but the mids and high are clear and lively. it runs pretty efficiently and i leave them on all the time. I am just amazed. I haven't missed the midrange magic of tubes yet, but who knows....? :)
