Description

This system was started about one year ago. I started off wanting to buy a budget all-in-one home theater system. But I'm the type of person that always wants to get the best bang for his buck. So I started doing research on the internet, and one year later here I am, completely addicted to this whole hifi thing. I am considering selling all the home theater stuff that I bought (and didn't list as part of my system here) to fund getting into vinyl.

The Totem's will be out the door as soon as I can afford the new PMC GB1's. And then it's on to vinyl. Probably a Rega P3 or something in that same league. Since the Krell doesn't have a phono section, I'll also need a relatively inexpensive ,ie $300-400 range, phono preamp. Any suggestions for that would be greatly appreciated.

Any other suggestions would be a great help as I'm realizing that I've got a huge amount to learn!

Sorry, I have no suggestions for your phono question, but I've had a pair of Sttafs for 2 years now, and am using them in my primary stereo system. Recently I began to explore upgrading to either the Forest, or Mani-2 (also considering a couple of other lines). Since my main desire was more low end, I bought a REL Storm III sub. That cured my upgrade itch (for now). It integrates perfectly with the Sttafs, and the whole system sounds incredible.
