Description

Started as a home theater fan, only recently delved in to serious music listening. This is my first 2-channel audio system, which is setup in a separate room from my home theater. The multipurpose room is fairly large and open, approx 24' x 15' x 13' and bisected by two-way fireplace. Floors are hardwood, room has usual drapery & furniture, no special acoustic treatments. Equipment is on a Bell'O audio comonent rack and the floor-standing speakers are slightly raised on 8" Sanus stands.

Have been pretty pleased thus far with this modest starting system. Put the whole system together with a combination of new & used gear, total outlay was about $2,500. Future enhancements may be an isolation transformer or other power conditioning and vibration isolation materials.

Smooth, more than ample power to drive the sensitive B&G speakers (4 ohm, 93db)

Very detailed speaker, 2.5 way hybrid design with ribbon tweeter & aluminum mid + woofer
