Description

This is a budget system, which has been going strong since 1993 when I purchased the primary components. The integrated and speakers are now a well known combo.

I have added the Phonomena II phono stage, which was kindly customized by Micheal Yee for me, and some DIY speaker cables which are an amazing improvement. The AT150MLX is sounding best at 128pF and 62K loading. So if you have the mind to work with alternate loading on an MM cart, or venture into DIY cable making, I ll give you a strong endorsement based on my results.

That looks like a wonderful system. You've been content for more than 15 years? I envy you in that regard.
I had a pair of Vandy 1Cs a few years ago and loved them. They were magic with the proper tilt angle which was almost no tilt in my room. Unfortunately I traded up to the 2Ce sigs and could not get them to work in my small room.
I have also been using Audioquest Slate speaker cables in a biwire configuration for many years. This cable is another true bargain IMO. I also like the AQ Type 8 cable which is very similar to Slate and reasonably priced.
