Description

Today I found this at estate/demo sale.

As I walked in there was lots of junk, boxes furniture, clothes etc. When I went into the basement I saw lots of LPs ...... and then this cabinet. On top the cabinet were books, vases and cardboard boxes of misc junk. Cleared the crap and opened the lid on the cabinet. When I lifted the lid I could not believe what I saw.

Garrard 301, Sme 3012 and a bunch of quad gear. Bought it on the spot.

I will need help identifying some of the pieces. Not much on the net. Any body know what these pieces are ?

I will remove the back of the cabinet to see if there are markings on the components. I am sure that the amp is inside of the unit.

Plugged the ac cord in and everything works.

Now to start cleaning and removing the dust.

Lonestarsouth,
I did research and found that vinegar is the safest poduct for vintage gear. I tried it on an old Pioneer reciever and it works wonders w/o damaging the the silk screening. It is gentle and safe.

Yes, Quad 57s Lonestarsouth.

Rugyboogie, Clean the cabinet w/ Old English furniture polish for natural wood. Don't use anything other than vinegar to clean the electronic faceplates. You have a prize stereo.

Now to find speakers from the same era to compliment the system. Then set it up in a library or study and enjoy music w/ a nice vintage glass of wine.
