Description

This modest system has changed quite a bit over the past two years starting from:

1. a flat maple Fleawatt w/Perdomo cigar box speakers

2. an inexpensive cigar box Fleawatt amp

3. Onix OA 20/2 integrated amp

4. Creek 4330 integrated amp

5. back to the Onix

Just picked up an Antique Sound Labs MG-Si15DT tube integrated amp which runs 5 wpc in Triode mode and 15 wpc in Pentode mode. I've always wanted one of these amps and now I have it! It's like having 2 different integrated amps in 1 and I've been going back and forth between both modes. Today, I'm on Triode mode and really enjoying this puppy.

Tubes have always ruled for me and now I'm content to keep this one around for a nice long time.

Thanks, I have to post some pictures of the current setup.

I sold the Creek a good 6 months ago so was not able to directly compare the ASL with it; however, my recollection of the Creek was that that it was a sweet sounding integrated. It had a passive line stage and was very nice sounding. Sonically, I preferred the Onix over the Creek but the Creek was a fine performer.
