You can't call Hank Williams Jr., Jr. anymore and this is hardly a Jr. either.
Began life as HW-19 Jr. , I've added over time;
-MK IV sub-chassis
-Herbie's tenderfoot to replace original sorbothane pucks
-Mini TNT feet
-Classic 20lb aluminum platter
-TNT stainless center weight
-Periphary ring
-SAMA motor
I'm using an early VPI PLC to match the SAMA's speed to the 12" platter while waiting to buy a Phoenix Eagle speed control to use with my Roadrunner tach.
Also, I'm having to use an RB-250 till I can find a way to mount my SME M2-9 - there's a clearance issue between the SME's audio cables and my current armboard/sub-chassis setup.
Since I have a Scout motor pod for a 12' platter, I plan to build a new plinth like the Super Scoutmaster That will allow me to just use the Phoenix Falcon PSU that I already have as the Scout motor is low enough wattage for the Falcon (the SAMA draws 7 watts)
