Description

Well, it has all changed again, I should just relist it as it has changed so many times since creating this as the "3rd" system. One thing is for sure, Ever Evolving has been accurate.

Brian,

He'll grow to appreciate good music, it seems all youngsters have about a 3 second attention span - the important thing is that he is happy and healthy, everything else will fall into place. I have a 18 month old god son who is just a ball of energy, so I pretty familiar with what your going through :)

Life has been interesting, I sold one of my business about 4 months ago, it had been in the works for around 2 years and I am now "retired" and am enjoying every minute of it. I have a few projects going on up here, but plan to move to a warmer climate with in 2 years at which point I may get back to being a serious audiophile, though I must admit I am happier with less - so who knows.

I guess I haven't been around in a while, time certainly does fly ;) No reason in particular that the Wilsons suprise me, it just wasn't what I was expecting to see. If your enjoying them and have had them for over a year(which is good for you) I would have to agree that nothing is wrong. The constant changing of equipment becomes tiring, better to just relax and enjoy the music.

How's the little audiophile in the house doing?

tireguy

Brian, It never ends, at least your having fun! Shocked to see Wilsons but change is what the game is all about.

Hey Brian, the Luxman looks more in place then the kenwood, but still not as swank as the classe gear! I am thinking of getting a tuner, do you find you use it a lot? I have about 2500cds so I have a good sized collection and am not sure I would use it that much- how is the sound quality?

In other news I may have won the "race" this year, it was completely by accident- honest! Happy Holidays :o)

tireguy

Hey Brian, Well your winning(?) the race this year :) I have a few subtle changes happening in a few weeks, however I made it MOST of the way through the year.

I have never seen the classe gear you have in real life, the pictures look great and I suspect they don't do the gear justice! Funny I am considering an Omega series amp if I end up keeping my speakers next year- glad to see/hear your enjoying classe.

One more thing, I am not sure any one had told you this, but that tuner doesn't really match your new components to well :^)

Enjoy the music.

tireguy

I know a secret :^)

Looks like you can't leave well enough alone- or so I am told. Its damn near the 4th month(as in the end of the first quarter) of the year and you have all of these changes- tisk tisk :o)

Though I must admit I am getting itchy to pull the trigger and get a set of Soundlabs!

tireguy

Gosh Brian it NEVER ends! My new years resolution is to NOT buy any gear this year- its 8 days into things and so far so good :) Let us know what you think when you get all of your new toys in place.

tireguy

Hey Brian,

New speakers eh? that's the only thing that hasn't changed! I bet I know who turned you onto the JMR speakers ;) I must have missed it before but I never noticed you had an all silver EMC-1, it looks killer! I like it in black a lot but I think I like it in silver even more, in particular with the JRDG integrated.
