Description

Well, it has all changed again, I should just relist it as it has changed so many times since creating this as the "3rd" system. One thing is for sure, Ever Evolving has been accurate.

We went to a cabin on a lake in Northeastern Connecticut - and it was more like the white hot north last week. Anyway, I took possession of the kW on Friday, so it is obviously still burning in, but so far it is simply amazing with the Watt Puppies. Even though they are fairly sensitive speakers, the Puppy presents a difficult load, and as of now I am hearing for the first time what reviewers talk about when they refer to "taut" bass. Plus I am learning just how much detail the Eclipse CDP serves up. I'll be updating my system soon...

Thanks. I purchased the kW-500. I plan on keeping the Sim for now - it is indeed quite nice and obviates the need, in my opinion, to go all hi-rez, at least for now. My new amp should arrive when I get back from vacation on the 5th. 9 days w/o a system should cleanse the aural palatte. It will replace my separates, which may seem crazy, but I know what I heard. BTW, you decor/room are pretty amazing as well. When I get back from the great white north and letthe system settle in I'll post my findings on my system page (which hopefully will be "done" by then...)

Cheers,

Glenn

Brian,
Beautiful system! Is that the kW SACD player in your rack? I recently heard the kW 500 - I can only imagine the synergy you must have the B&Ws. Has the kW 500 changed any during break-in? I was so thrilled I placed my order last night - a mere week after posting my system in the Done foe Now forum - Oops :)

Regards,
