Thanks, Brian...Did you look into the Wilson Sophias before deciding on the 802Ds?

Also, would be curious to hear your thoughts on the 802Ns vs the 802Ds...I have the opportunity to buy a pair of 802Ns for about 4K which, as you know is a very substantial savings...

Hi Brian:

I am curious to hear your thoughts on the 802Ds and room size. Can you give me a sense of what the minimum room size would need to be to truly appreciate these speakers? I have a Mac 6500 amp and a lector cd player and have been thinking of upgrading from my 704s when I move but have the bug to do it sooner rather than later but am stuck with a bit of a small room for the next 6 to 9 months.
