Replaced the Audionet electronics with Soulution 511+525. Went from CD based digital rig to a file based one using the Vivaldi Upsampler and Melco as a digital library.

The Reed 3P is a wonderful, very musical arm with lots of features for "on the fly" corrections. It can be matched with many cartridges, however it is not the easyiest to mount - not a plug and play arm but once it is properly mounted it is one of beast arms I've heard.
Upgrade to my analog rig - added the Brinkmann Balance 2 arm turntable with the RONT power supply to replace my Garrard 301. Upgraded the Zyx cartridge to the Optimum and replaced the great Audionet PAM G2 phonostage with the excellent Soulution 550.
Further to my comments on cabling you might also want to explore an external 10MHz master clock for the Scarlatti -- they're not that expensive and the effect is very positive -- more details on my experience here
As objective as I can be - I never heard a better overall speaker than Vivid.
If I had the funds I would have go higher in the chain while I'm not missing any note. I had Harbeth speakers before but I auditioned many speakers before deciding on the Vivids (Rockport, Wilson, Raidho, YG, Magico to name a few brands) - they are that good...
My entire digital, ICs and speaker cables are the Zensati Authentica - not cheap but amazing IMHO. The dampening plates came along with the Artesania stands but can be sold separetely.
Under the Steve Dobbins Gararad 301 TT I use stillpoints ultra 5 which are extremely expensive but turned out an excellent upgrade over the ultra ss.
May I ask what footer your using under your plinth, I've recently put together a Garrard 301 and am looking for an attractive but effective footer for my plinth.
Nice system. I don't see what you are using for digital cables in your DCS stack. Like many I've found that it's hard to beat Transparent Ref XL, costly but well worth it. Isee you have some third party footers and also damp the top plates - i got good results from Marigo footers under all my DCS gear and use Shakti stones on top. Anyway check out my detailed system description for more ideas on other tweaks to consider
Just replaced an excellent Zyx Universe ii cart with a Zyx Universe premium. I didn't believe it can get better than the Uni2 but the premium is truly magnificent. Thanks to Mehran of Sora sound. I'm in analog heaven now.
Stunning looking system and room! I too am in the process of moving to all AudioNet electronics. Best kept secret in audio. I have started with the AMP monoblocks and getting the G2 preamp next, then the PAM phonostage and power supply.
Beautiful system and what a great collection of gear!
How do you like the Wavewood and have you tried the Vicoustics Super Bass Extreme traps; they certainly are beautiful! I am thinking about adding 1 or 2 in each of two problem corners in my listening room (an alcove on one side of room, other side of room is ample and extremely open). Do they work well for you? Thanks!
Just added the Zyx Uni2 cart on the zyx headshell and ring. Excellent cart - sweet sounding with tons of detail. Mehran of sora sound is the greatest guy.
