Thanks for the response. I went to their website; looks like they've now released what looks to be a model up from both the XPA2 and 1. (Class H) I can't remember if that's the same or different from the XPA1 and 2.

Oh? Obviously they're more powerful. In what context do they sound better? For example, at moderate music-listening levels, does one sound far better than the other? In whatever case, would you mind saying how or in what way the sound is better?

Well that's good: don't have to fork out the $$$ for a proper stand to elevate it.

Do you listen to much music by itself. If so, do you favour your amps for music or movies? I guess I'm asking about your experience with the Emotiva amps.\

Very tasteful; great attention to detail. I guess I would be wondering whether it would be worth elevating the centre speaker up to the bottom of the screen. Looks like an inviting place and a lot of fun :)
