After 20 years of systems from the likes of Classe, Ayre, Cary, Plinus, Totem, KEF and other great manufacturers, I have finally found happiness in tubes and minimalism... The combination of Canary CD-300, CA-608SE and Sonus Faber original Concerto has taken the constant thought "what if I changed..." out of my mind, and simply brings sweet musical enjoyment. From Derek and the Dominoes at Fillmore, to Bill Evans at the Village Vanguard, the system excells in all areas (even bass is better than one should expect from mini monitors). John at Canary is a wonderful person, and his products are stunning - amazing to me they don't get more press from the trade mags or net reviews. Look at the hand wound and potted transformers - are you kidding! Build quality cannot be beat - and the sound follows suit! So pleased...
