Been into hifi since 1995 and these are the most outstanding components I have ever purchased. These are in a completely different league to the Stirling, Sandringham and Turnberry. I just love them and get excited on my way home from work to spend the night in front of them.
There is something magical about dual-concentric designed speakers. Such effortless soundstage and imaging. The sweetspot effectively becomes the whole wall. The bottom end is simply awesome compared to other speakers i was looking af it just has weight to it, as opposed to hifi tightness and slam. I was in a band in the 90s and we were fortunate enough to record in one of Australias best studios. I remember listening to playback from the reel through their giant 15inch corner mounted ceiling speakers that fired down to the middle of the room and was completely blown away by the lack of compression and weight. The drums actually sounding exactly as they did in the recording room- uncompressed. The Kensingtons remind meof that great music moment a lo of the time.
