Our Linn Setup comprises of just the integrated DS player and speakers.
Since the DS plays MP3 (yuck), MP4, CD 44/16 and Hi Res 88/96/192 24bit no multiple sources are needed. You can stream music to the player as well.
It also functions as preamp for volume control and it has 2x 100w per channel of Chakra power which is enough to power most speakers at a reasonable level.
The sound is very good on cd quality tracks. Marvelous on hi-rez files.
Hi there! I like ur "Less is more" system. I can only imageing what it sounds like. I started out wanting a Linn system. Never quite got there...kinda went in different direction. What kind of acoustic treatments are u using? Nice system by the way!
