Description

9 months ago I had a Carver CT7 pre amp, TFM 24 amp, Infinity ss2004 speakers and a Pioneer PDM 60 cdp. After I decided to upgrade, I found this site. No, it's not a $20k system, I have about $3500 in it, but it jams for me. I know the speakers a little too close to the wall, but that's where thery're going until the basement gets done. Dig the cool Chet Zar print and the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack album cover on the wall!

Loose feeling???

Had this open to check your gear and meant to post on your thread in forum topics, sorry!!! I have used VTI racks and found them to be noisy, tap the crossbar under the shelf with your fingernail and listen to them resonate!!!! I used Sorbagel 2" 1/2 spheres under the pre and the highs and lows were much cleaner(clearer).
I also cut 1/4 Sorbagel sheets and put between rack and shelf.

Go to the local wholesale electric store get two two receptacle boxes, four hospital grade receptacles, two hospital grade plugs the appropriate amount of the best 12/3 cord they have and make two extension cords for eight plugs. Next throw the monster power strip in the trash, then with the money you've saved buy some isolation devices for your equipment (sorbagel from E-Bay) etc!!!
