Description

9 months ago I had a Carver CT7 pre amp, TFM 24 amp, Infinity ss2004 speakers and a Pioneer PDM 60 cdp. After I decided to upgrade, I found this site. No, it's not a $20k system, I have about $3500 in it, but it jams for me. I know the speakers a little too close to the wall, but that's where thery're going until the basement gets done. Dig the cool Chet Zar print and the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack album cover on the wall!

I think that's a nice upgrade. I owned the smaller Paradigm Studio 20s years ago and they were excellent. I wouldn't worry too much about the speakers being too close to the wall. I believe those are front ported only, not rear, so the bass shouldn't be too badly bloated. Besides, in countries where square footage is much more precious, your placement would be considered pretty good.
