I'll offer a testimonial of my own Trio's - I have run them with Pass XA30.8 (warmer) and the more transparent sounding NAD M22 lately.
I would strongly agree: heaven!
With proper placement, room setup, and source material, the sound feels palpable.You want to reach out and touch them.
Folks that have not liked them almost certainly haven't done enough to build a room for them. A fully custom made room will get the best out of any speakers, and these are no exception.
