Went from Pass Labs separates with X260.8 mono amps and dual chassis XP-22 preamp, Aurender N200 streamer with Bricasti M3 DAC to this minimalistic setup consisting of just two main components, Meitner MA3i used as a Roon endpoint and Boulder 866 integrated. I throw in an Audiolab CD transport once in a while for good measure. All this without compromises in sound quality. I’m always looking for an improvement but this system gets me so close to the music that I’m not sure what else is there to do. I’m loving the simplicity and the unbelievable sound!
